in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Body:
Duratech,
a leading laboratory
equipment manufacturing firm, became part of the #15 team for the
Brickyard 400 event of the Monster Energy
NASCAR Cup Series. Event primary partner The Lisa Colagrossi
Foundation, Joey Gase and Premium Motorsports welcomed Duratech CEO
and President Michael Sherfick who represented his company as
associate partner in the July 23 event. It was the Series' first at
Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Headquartered
in Indiana, Duratech specializes in industrial controls and
equipment. Michael takes pride in his company's award-winning
tempering and automation applications of the Nuclear Magnetic
Resonance spectroscopy, which is integral to various sectors
including petroleum, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, specialty
chemical and food industries. Thanks to the ability of these
applications to enable real-time control and optimize production
processes, their customers are able to enjoy huge cost savings.
Duratech
was founded in 1984 and has risen to become a top-rated provider of
custom electronics and engineering services to the global industrial
market. In 2009, Michael purchased the company and managed it as a
subsidiary of Fast Track Technologies, a firm he founded in the same
year. Fast Track is a highly recognized ratcheting tiedown technology
innovator which Michael established after co-inventing The Easy
Strap, a patented soft loop product for the shipping sector.
Since
2014, Michael's vision and leadership paved the way for Duratech's
success in the global field. As President and CEO, Michael has
focused on intensifying research, development and modifications to
the company's existing products and services to consciously raise
current standards, consistently meet the changing needs of the market
and exceed client expectations at all times. At present, Duratech
aims to be a world-class provider of engineering and manufacturing
services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and end users
with the end-goal of helping clients enhance, redesign and cut cost
on their existing systems.
"For
over three decades, Duratech has proven itself instrumental in
helping industries monitor complex manufacturing processes and
optimize output while ensuring the highest standards of quality,"
says Michael.
Being
a big fan of NASCAR and a native of Indianapolis, Michael was
definitely thrilled and honored that his company became a
contributing partner in the historic event held in his hometown. In
fact, he had the honor of meeting "The King" Richard Lee
Petty, a legendary NASCAR driver with 7-time championships and 200
wins tucked in his belt.
